Greeting in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, we are
New Day Christian Ministry Faisalabad Pakistan.
Pakistan is an agricultural country. Most of its population resides in the 80% rural area and some of them live in slums. Recently, it has been a great trend to migrate in the urban areas. The Muslims are in the majority here, they comprise 97% of our population and other minorities are Christians which comprise 1.5% of the total population. In Pakistan most people from rural areas are illiterate and do not have access to education.
In 1973 Zia UL Haq who was at that time the President of Pakistan was a fundamental ruler and got a law passed called, “Blasphemy Law” from the parliament. Several clauses were introduced for blaspheming the Holy Prophet.
Due to this cruel law many Christians have been falsely accused. From then on spreading the good news of the Gospel came to an end. It became totally unlawful to preach among the majority people. Christians cannot distribute the literature and openly work for the establishment of Lord’s kingdom.
Despite this God is using us in the city and rural areas. We are providing free Gospel song tracks to the Christian people. They enjoy listening to the Gospel songs. Now a day we are making Christmas song Cds which we are introducing as New Day Christian Ministry Faisalabad Pakistan. It is great honor for us to be a part of New Day Christian Ministry.
We are providing free Christian books because most of the Christian people of Pakistan can not afford to buy a book themselves because they are too expensive. When they come into the church we give them the free Christian books/Bibles
We go out to preach the Gospel in the Muslim villages, distribute Christian books and Gospel songs, and minister to Christian pastors and leaders to help them reach out with the Love of Jesus Christ and to be able to share the truths of God’s Word.
We are running Sunday Schools for children. We have a Sunday school teacher who is giving them knowledge from the word of God and we are supporting him with offerings.
We have ladies who are going village to village and city to city to preach the word of God. They are also holding women meetings to teach and share with other woman about Jesus Christ.
Future Goals.
1-To Establish a Library for Christian and Muslims, so that they will come into the library and read the word of God and other Christians books. Many Muslims in Pakistan want to convert to Christianity but they are afraid to because other Muslims will kill them. When they come into the Library they can have the opportunity to know more about word of God.
2- Provide help for those seeking an education and skills and to give knowledge and a formal education to children and women. Most of the Christians of Pakistan not have good jobs because they have no resources to get an education and work skills. We want to help them to get an education and the skills they need.
3-.To plant New Day branches, build worship centers, and improve the quality of Pakistan. As we have shared Pakistan is a non Christian country. There are very few churches here and we need the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be shared throughout Pakistan. Therefore we want to build churches in the villages where they can come easily and can receive the Gospel and understand more about the word of God.
4-We are planning to get a projector. Then we will go village to village and city to city to show the “JESUS” film because most people of the villages do not know about the birth and preaching of Jesus Christ. We want to give them the opportunity to see the Jesus film so they too they can know our Lord Jesus Christ.
