Greetings in Jesus name.
NDCM Mochengo is located in the southern part of Kenya. We are southwest of Lake Victoria in the Gucha south district. Gucha south is an agricultural community. Most of its population resides in the 80% rural area and some of them live in slums. In Gucha south most people from the up countries are illiterate and they do not have access to education. Due to illiteracy most of the people live n poverty. It is difficult for us to afford much as a church. We run short of tithes and offerings, and with the little funds we collect monthly we pay for the tent and some other church stationeries. The Tent is to help protect us from heavy rainfall and direct sunshine. Despite the difficulties we have a growing, thriving ministry. In addition to our Sunday services, we have small groups that will eventually form churches where they are and assign ministers. We have a growing youth ministry that has youth camps, special seminars, youth services, and even a youth choir. Mochengo NDCM ministries has planted a new branch in Awendo in the boundary of Kisii and the Luo community in the Rongo district and also cares fulltime for a minister who stays there fulltime. The primary focus for NDCM is to reach the unreached of Africa and see more saved and baptized as per the commission of Christ, that is to go ye and make them disciples of Christ. In so doing, we are opening up small local units which we help and are assisting local lay leaders.
Our Goals
1.NDCM Mochengo has a desire to reflect a closer relationship with Jesus Christ in our daily walk with Christ and being his hands for this time to all of those around us.
2.To be active in the planting churches, training leaders and bringing many more souls to the kingdom.
3.To plant NDCM branches, build worship centers by musical instruments and improve the quality south.
The Lord is blessing! We have two branches here and we need the gospel of Christ to be shared through Africa as all. May the Lord bless you and may you have a happy & prosperous new year in 2010
