We are New Day Christian Ministry Vumilia, Kenya. We heap all the glory and honor unto the Lord for putting us together. We are so much grateful to serve our only True and Living God in New Day Christian Ministry. He is the Lord our Banner of Victory.
Vumilia Village is in Lower Soy Division, Uasin gishu County. Many people here are very poor and dependent only on limited casual work that is provided by few rich people in the area. There are common cases of orphans, widows, and widowers and the people live in poverty.
We are holding youth meetings every Saturday evening for two hours where they study the Bible and also practice singing.We also have Bible studies on Sundays and normal Sunday services. During the week we hold couples meetings every Tuesday evening and meeting for church leaders every Thursday evening all are two hours.
We prayerfully look forward to purchasing land to build a church building. Currently we are renting the building we are using as church.
We also look forward to buying plastic chairs and Instruments for the church. We trust God will provide as it is appropriate in His own good timing.
We are hoping also to hold house evangelisms as well as holding seminars and conferences at least twice a year.
We would appreciate to get 34 Bibles in Swahili Language. If we buy in bulk, each Bible will cost KES 450. Thirty-four Bibles will cost KES 15,300[about $200].
Many people of this part of Kenya are leading very sinful lives. Pray that the Lord would turn upside down the people to run away from their sinful behaviors and come to the obedience of Jesus Christ, repent, and be born again. Please pray also for our church to grow, expand and prosper to greater heights both spiritually and materially so that we can be able to help the poor and needy in our area to pay school fees, offer shelter and most importantly Spiritual nourishment.
